You Owe Me
By Robert Deloatch
The You Owe Me App is a new iPhone Application that allows users to keep track of the loans the user has given to people as well as loans people have given the user. The user can add a new loan by simply clicking the “+” button and will then be prompted to fill out the persons name, email, phone number, and will be able to set reminders about when the loan is due to the user by. All fields are optional and the user can also enter in information about the loan, such as the amount, if it is complete, the date of the loan, a description, and whether or not the you owe somebody or somebody owe’s you the mentioned loaned.
A unique feature is that once the loan is created, the user can view a graph of both an individual person or their total amount of loans. The graph is special for loans that involve money. On the individual basis, the loan allows for the user to see how much a particular user owes them, even if the loan is split up between several different loan entries in the main table. The graph also shows all the money that the user owes that particular person, and will add each loan involving money for the graph, even if the loan is split up between different loans on the home page’s loan list.Users can also view a graph of the total amount of money the user owes to people as well as the total amount of money people owe the user.
The reminder feature displays an alert when the user loads the app notifying them that a particular individual owes them either Money or some other object. The user can also import an existing person from their address book to complete the personal fields for completing a loan. Lastly, a user can email the person the loan involves by simply clicking an email button that completes an email and allows for some user entry.
